Canvey Island, Essex (Office Based) Full Time. amp. is a modern full-service ticketing and customer support business built for live events. Part of one of the UK’s leading live entertainment groups, we work with venues, producers, promoters and live events across the UK - delivering ticketing operations, white-label customer service and high-performance ticketing technology.

As amp. continues to grow, we’re looking for a commercially minded and highly organised Ticketing & Client Services Executive to become one of the business’s key early hires. This is a varied role combining ticketing operations, client services and commercial growth. You’ll work closely with existing clients while also helping introduce amp. to new venues, promoters and event organisers who may benefit from our services. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and being part of a fast-moving business where they can make a genuine impact from an early stage.

The Role

This is not a traditional ticketing admin position. One day you could be building events and managing allocations. The next, you might be speaking with a venue interested in outsourcing customer service, discussing ticketing solutions with a promoter, or supporting the delivery of a major on-sale. You’ll play an important role in both the day-to-day operations of the business and its continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Services & Business Development
    • Building relationships with venues, promoters and event organisers
    • Identifying and approaching potential new clients
    • Discussing amp.’s services and solutions with prospective partners
    • Supporting new business conversations, pitches and onboarding
    • Helping grow and develop existing client accounts
    • Representing amp. in a professional, knowledgeable and commercially minded way
    • Attending meetings, industry events and client visits where required
  • Ticketing Operations
    • Building and managing events within ticketing systems
    • Managing ticket inventory, allocations, pricing and holds
    • Supporting on-sales and live event ticketing activity
    • Assisting with reporting and sales analysis
    • Handling event updates, amendments and operational changes
    • Supporting the wider operations team across multiple live events
  • Customer Experience
    • Supporting customer service operations where required
    • Assisting with customer enquiries across phone, email and live chat
    • Helping deliver a seamless customer journey from booking through to event attendance

About You

We’re looking for someone ambitious, proactive and commercially aware who enjoys working across multiple areas of a growing business. You’ll ideally have experience within ticketing, live events, venues, customer service, account management or event operations - but attitude, communication skills and a willingness to learn are just as important. You should be:

  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident speaking with clients and building relationships
  • Commercially minded and proactive
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Interested in live events and entertainment
  • A strong team player with a hands-on approach

Experience with ticketing systems would be an advantage but is not essential.
