The role includes one fixed full day at Askern Medical Practice on a Thursday, with the remaining 2 sessions to be discussed with the successful candidate.

- We hold regular team meetings including MDT, SEA and educational sessions.,
- Provide safe, effective and patient-centred clinical care.
- Undertake routine GP consultations and clinical assessments.
- Manage the on-call message board on Thursdays.
- Review and action pathology results and pathology links.
- Complete clinical administration and patient follow-up.
- Process prescriptions and Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) tasks.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary practice team.
- Participate in clinical governance and professional development.
- Support the delivery of safe and effective primary care services.
Our premises are modern, and purpose built.
Our team consists of GPs, Physician Assistant, Practice Nurses, HCAs and other associated staff.
We use Systm One, Ardrens and Accurx software.
We are a well-established practice for over 13,500 patients over four sites and our list size is growing year on year.
- Through our PCN membership we have had opportunity to work collaboratively across our Network area.
We have had opportunity to work alongside a number of ARRS roles including Pharmacy Team, Physiotherapist, Primary Care Mental Health team, as well as a Social Prescribers.
We have a very supportive and enthusiastic Management team, excellent Patient Services and Admin support staff.
