Location: Telford, TF1 7AF, UK.

Responsibilities

  • Support and keep planned maintenance tasks up to date.
  • Create service tickets and allocate them to engineers as required.
  • Assist with planning on‑site work and coordinate Field Service Engineers.
  • Help organise accommodation for Engineers.
  • Liaise with sub‑contractors, file job reports promptly.
  • Generate purchase orders for equipment/sub‑contractors, track part deliveries with suppliers.
  • Manage calibration records and arrange equipment testing.
  • Handle lubricating oil supply, removal of used oil and coolant from Flexible Generation sites.
  • Arrange hire equipment for Field Service Engineers.
  • Support the Store Coordinator with part orders, returns, and inventory management.
  • Assist with store shipments, include handling of incoming/outgoing goods using lifting equipment.
  • Support the service desk with incoming telephone calls and email.
  • Provide holiday cover for the Telford store coordinator when required.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering administration support in a fast‑moving, demanding operational environment.
  • Ability to plan, organise and assign maintenance schedules.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Capacity to balance daily tasks with strategic goals, managing time effectively.
  • Experience handling warehouse activities with manual handling and lifting; training on lifting equipment will be provided.

Additional Information

  • Competitive salary to be discussed at interview.
  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00‑17:00 with one‑hour unpaid lunch.
  • Office based; Permanent contract.
