Amour Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Principle Hardware / Datacentre Engineer, on behalf of our wonderful client based in Hilsea, Portsmouth. In this exciting position, you'll oversee teams of dedicated hardware engineers, ensuring the delivery of bespoke IT solutions for a nationwide client base. Working closely with the project management team, you'll assist the planning and delivery of the IT installations, guiding and supporting the team throughout.

Responsibilities:

  • Team management of IT engineers.
  • Project delivery, ensuring key milestones are reached and recorded.
  • Design and delivery of IT infrastructure, to specification.
  • Produce and maintain risk assessments and method statements.
  • Liaise directly with internal teams, project managers and clients on project status and updates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in data centre or infrastructure engineering.
  • Professional knowledge of computing, storage, networking, software and hardware.
  • Ability to work independently to your own initiative and as part of a larger team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday

Salary: up to £55,000 DOE
