Amour Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Agent on behalf of our well-established client based in Midhurst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction and working with regular, repeat customers in a trade environment. This is a newly created role, offered on a temporary basis initially.
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional service from enquiry through to delivery. Duties will include:
- Handling incoming customer calls
- Dealing with regular repeat customers and building strong working relationships
- Updating customers on delivery times and turnaround schedules
- Calling customers back with quotes and following up on quotations
- Managing customer returns and resolving queries efficiently
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous customer service experience (merchant or trade background desirable)
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to location
