Amour Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Junior Buyer, to join our long standing clients expanding team in Havant.
In this new role, you'll support the procurement function, in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
This role fits between multiple departments, and you'll act as a crucial team member ensuring that manufacturing teams have ample supply of materials/components.
You'll work with the support of dedicated experienced buyers, building your confidence and developing skills.

Responsibilities
- Placing and managing orders, monitoring supply and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with core suppliers.
- Ensure accurate documentation, to ensure clear requirements, and reduce risk of discrepancy.
- Collaborate and communicate cross departmentally, to maintain clear communication channels.
Requirements
- Previous experience in buying or procurement, ideally within manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, both internally and externally.
- Experience across MRP/ERP systems is desirable.
- Experience in planning, scheduling and delivery tracking is desirable.
