This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking Class 2 Drivers looking for regular Monday–Friday work, early starts, early finishes and a genuine long-term position.
Salary: £31,694 (£16.43 per hour)
The Role:
- As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles and supporting the collection of household and commercial waste across the local area.
- You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, helping to provide an essential waste collection service to the local community.
Working pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Early starts and early finishes
- Regular, ongoing work
- PAYE position
- Long-term opportunity
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
- Drive designated routes and collection areas
- Work closely with the refuse collection team
- Ensure waste is collected safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Report any vehicle defects or issues
- Follow all relevant health & safety procedures
- Comply with drivers’ hours and transport legislation
- Maintain a professional attitude when working in the community

Essential:
