Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Manager to work for a fantastic company based in Havant. You will take responsibility for the management and leadership of a production team. You will lead, support, challenge, inspire and coach Team Members in delivering the company strategy and production/cellular objectives.
Duties include:
- Oversee the production process, managing assembly/machining lines, coordinating all production activities and operations across multiple product value streams.
- Resource planning, ensuring that key requirements are in place to meet the agreed forecasts.
- Be accountable for the Team's outputs whilst maintaining and improving quality standards and proactively implementing actions when required.
- Ensuring that production is cost effective, improving productivity and reducing scrap.
- Work closely with other teams to drive class leading delivery performance.
- Collating and analysing data, putting together production reports for tiered meeting reviews.
- Utilise CI tools to manage the day-to-day business and make improvements.
Personal requirements:
- Thorough understanding of root cause analysis, problem-solving, and error prevention.
- Experience with Lean methodology.
- Experience with ERP (advantageous).
- Strong people leadership with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with front line leaders and site management across the site.
