Customs Clearance Clerk

Amour Recruitment is seeking experienced Customs Clearance Clerks to work for our well-established client based in Portsmouth.

You will be responsible for completing import and export customs declarations, so previous experience is a must!

Duties include:

• Complete GB Border pre-notification
• Calculate and pay appropriate HMRC tariffs
• Issue proforma invoices
• Advise customers on GB requirements
• Process declarations and send to HMRC

Personal requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
• Ability to identify and prioritise workload
• Knowledge of customs declarations are a must

Hours: Shift patterns week 1 -3 are Monday to Friday 0800-1700, week 4 1000-1900 and one weekend in 4 on call (Additional £200 paid for this and you can work it from home!)

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 depending on experience.
