Amour Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Manager to support a Building Manager in the smooth and efficient management of the general building and occupation of rooms for residential purposes within the building based in Peterborough.

Duties include:

  • Property Maintenance - inspecting fire safety equipment including extinguishers and doors, dealing with minor repairs, making sure lights are working.
  • Carrying out inspections of communal areas including lifts and car park, making sure they are kept clean and clear of any hazards.
  • Watering plants, litter picking and general tidying.
  • General administration to assist building manager.

Personal requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Word/Excel required.
  • Courteous nature to deal with customers.
  • Excellent timekeeping.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance desirable.

Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1730 (with flexibility).

Salary: £25,000.
