Liverpool Hope University is seeking to appoint a Library Assistant to join our welcoming and inclusive Acquisitions team in the university library.
In addition to providing key customer support to students in the library, the role will support essential acquisitions activities including the handling of new materials and maintaining the existing holdings. Other tasks to support the provision of students with the resources and service they need will include handling inter-library loans, reservations, shelving and stock moves. As part of the team, the Library Assistant will support activities to deliver, maintain and develop library services to support the teaching, learning and research activities of the University.
We’re seeking individuals with initiative, team-working skills and a good approach to communication. The successful candidate will have experience in customer service, of working in an office environment, and strong IT skills.
