SEASONAL - Mid-May to Labor Day
Compensation: $19.00/hour
40 hours a week
$15.00 daily vehicle reimbursement stipend
*Must have a personal vehicle available to use with current registration and current car insurance of $100,000 liability per person, $300,000 per accident, $100,000 property damage per accident.
Position Information: Support the Sales Department by ensuring displays, coolers and shelves at accounts are stocked and product is rotated in a timely, efficient, safe and professional manner.
Primary Contribution to Amoskeag Beverages:
- Support and help the Sales team as needed
- Stock displays, coolers, and shelves at accounts ensuring that product is rotated by the first-in, first-out method to avoid, reduce or eliminate returns of out-of-code product
- Meet Delivery Drivers at appointed times to help unload and display product as directed
- Be professional, courteous and respectful to co-workers, customers and the general public
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain visual appeal and sufficient stock of product
- Ensure all accounts on the route are serviced according to the schedule or at the direction of management
- Work as efficiently and quickly as possible to accommodate the number accounts being serviced, while remaining safety conscious
- Coordinate with the account on best display of product and use of cooler and floor space
- Make deliveries off truck or pick-up product from the warehouse when needed
- Transfer Close-to-Code product to high volume accounts throughout the week to avoid, reduce or eliminate Out-of-Code product
- Act in a safe manner taking into consideration proper lifting, pulling, stacking, and wheeling procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous merchandising experience preferred
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Self-starter who is able to work both independently and as a team
- Able to follow directions, is detail oriented and has an eye for visual presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal communication skills
- Able to use a two-wheeler, U-Boat or other equipment to move product throughout the account
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and up to 165 lbs. occasionally
- Able to reach, stand, sit, kneel, bend, push, pull, and climb repeatedly or for long periods of time
Working Conditions:
- Retail environment- chain stores, convenience stores, and other retail establishments
- Must wear a seatbelt while operating or riding in a vehicle for business purposes
- Must wear Company provided, branded polo and safety toe shoes at all times while working
- Early morning start times and weekend shifts required
