Job Responsibilities:

  • Recertification, inspection and examination of lifting equipment and lifting accessories in accordance with Loler regulations.
  • Overall responsibility for the testing, maintenance and repair of AMOS owned, and client owned lifting equipment.
  • Carry out goods receipt inspection of new supply lifting equipment and accessories.
  • Complete daily records of equipment inspected and tested and prepare NDT reports.
  • Assist with activities of storage, receiving, dispatching, distribution, housekeeping and inventory control.
  • Monitor stock inventory.
  • Monitor and update incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Liaise with the office on clients’ needs for their orders and the upcoming mobilization and demobilization of orders.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of containers and rigging lofts.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in the workshop/warehouse area.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a LEEA lifting equipment qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role within the last 2 years.
  • Previous experience in rigging/lifting business.
  • NDT qualifications beneficial.
