Job Responsibilities:
- Recertification, inspection and examination of lifting equipment and lifting accessories in accordance with Loler regulations.
- Overall responsibility for the testing, maintenance and repair of AMOS owned, and client owned lifting equipment.
- Carry out goods receipt inspection of new supply lifting equipment and accessories.
- Complete daily records of equipment inspected and tested and prepare NDT reports.
- Assist with activities of storage, receiving, dispatching, distribution, housekeeping and inventory control.
- Monitor stock inventory.
- Monitor and update incoming and outgoing goods.
- Liaise with the office on clients’ needs for their orders and the upcoming mobilization and demobilization of orders.
- Assist with loading and unloading of containers and rigging lofts.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in the workshop/warehouse area.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a LEEA lifting equipment qualification.
- Experience in a similar role within the last 2 years.
- Previous experience in rigging/lifting business.
- NDT qualifications beneficial.
