Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in creating social-first content, managing social media channels, and fostering online communities. They should have a comprehensive understanding of social media elements, including various formats and emerging trends. Confidence in briefing and managing the development and delivery of content is essential.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints and crafting compelling, engaging content and marketing campaigns that enhance brand appeal, generate excitement, and clarify our brand narrative. This role aims to amplify the brand\’s presence and drive growth.
A socially native, creative individual with a passion for beauty is highly desirable. The candidate should have the ability to produce content and work within a lean, dynamic team to shape our brand identity, execute product marketing strategies, and deliver an inspiring, cohesive customer experience.
Principal Accountabilities
Social Media Strategy and Campaign Development:
- Develop and implement local social media strategies and campaigns aligned with brand objectives, incorporating insights from competitor activity, emerging trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with global teams to adapt and localize global strategies for the UK market. Product Strategy.
Paid Social Media Expertise:
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to achieve KPIs such as reach, engagement, website traffic, and conversions.
- Monitor, optimize, and report on paid social activities to ensure maximum ROI and budget efficiency.
Content Calendar Management:
- Create and manage the daily social media content calendar for key platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, ensuring consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
- Ensure timely scheduling and posting of content, optimizing for platform-specific best practices and audience engagement.
Content Creation and Collaboration:
- Conceptualize, execute, and curate engaging content for owned social channels, including photos, videos, and stories.
- Work with influencers, photographers, and videographers to generate high-quality user-generated content (UGC) and creative assets.
- Collaborate with the PR and retailer teams to support campaigns, events, and product launches with social media amplification.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Produce comprehensive monthly performance reports and campaign wrap-ups, analyzing data to inform future strategies and highlight successes.
- Use insights from analytics to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, PR, and e-commerce teams to ensure social media aligns with broader marketing objectives.
- Share campaign updates and results with internal stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
Trendspotting and Innovation:

Community Management:

Key Experience and Skills
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (2–4 years) in social media management, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms, including their algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing paid social media campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong content creation skills with a keen eye for aesthetics, tone, and brand consistency.
- Proficient in social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Sprout Social) and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Passion for skincare and knowledge of the UK beauty market is a plus.
