The Product Management will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product portfolio lifecycle, supporting new product launches, and ensuring operational excellence across product management functions. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, HQ, and external agencies to ensure successful product launches, accurate product data management, strong commercial performance, and consistent brand execution across all channels.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in beauty or FMCG product management, portfolio analysis, forecasting, and launch coordination, with excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Principal Accountabilities- Product Portfolio Management & Reporting: Manage product lifecycle from launch through discontinuation. Monitor sell-in/sell-out performance, profitability, and product mix performance. Analyse category, franchise, and core product performance to identify opportunities and risks. Support sales forecasting, launch forecasting, and performance tracking with Sales and Finance teams. Prepare product reports, dashboards, launch analysis, and HQ presentations. Conduct competitor benchmarking, market trend analysis, and innovation monitoring. Support local product positioning and product claim adaptation for market relevance.
- Product Launch & NPD Coordination: Manage and maintain product launch timelines and calendars across retailers. Coordinate end-to-end NPD activities including artwork, compliance, retailer setup, assets, and launch readiness. Ensure launch readiness across stock planning, product data, PDP content, and retailer requirements. Work closely with HQ, Sales, SCM, RA, and external agencies to ensure timely execution. Identify, track, and escalate launch risks or delays proactively.
- Product Operations & Master Data Management: Maintain accurate SKU master data, product information files, and asset libraries. Manage SKU setup, updates, discontinuations, and portfolio governance. Maintain product trackers, pricing, distribution reports, and launch documentation. Support SLOB reduction initiatives and product phase-out management. Ensure all product claims, descriptions, visuals, and content are accurate and compliant.
- Brand Assets, Sampling & Trade Support: Coordinate packaging, artwork, and product asset management with agencies and Regulatory Affairs. Manage product assets including packshots, product copy, claims, and launch materials. Support sampling, GWP planning, and promotional product allocation management. Support retailer-exclusive launches, kits, promotional activities, and campaign product readiness. Coordinate product assets and information with ecommerce and paid media teams.
- Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, HQ, retailers, and agencies to ensure alignment on launches and timelines. Lead regular cross-functional coordination on product-related activities and priorities. Ensure timely communication, escalation, and resolution of issues impacting launches or commercial performance.
- 3+ years’ experience in Product Management, Brand Management, NPD, or Product Operations within the beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of product launches, portfolio management, forecasting, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working with key retailers such as Boots, Space NK, Sephora, Selfridges, or similar retailers preferred.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple launches simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and experience managing product information and master data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and deadline-driven environment.
