Job Summary: The Key Account Coordinator will support the commercial team in managing and growing relationships with key UK retail partners. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, seamless product launches, strong onsite visibility, and accurate commercial reporting.
The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally across internal and external stakeholders.
Principal Accountabilities
- Account Management: Support day-to-day operations across key retail accounts (Space NK, Boots, Selfridges, John Lewis and others). Coordinate and own critical path for new product launches: New Line Form completion, PDP optimisation and go-live checks. Support in-store and online merchandising strategy to enhance brand visibility and product performance. Accurately track and maintain log of all retailer activities e.g. marketing spend, testers, ad hoc invoices. Track product availability and flag low or OOS lines. Maintain and update retailer assortment and pricing lists. Support with New Business research, onboarding and launch co-ordination.
- Marketing & Onsite Activation: Liaise with retail partners to ensure timely execution of onsite marketing activity (e.g. banners, brand pages, sampling, GWPs). Support planning and delivery of campaign and promotional calendars (e.g. Black Friday, Christmas, key retailer moments). Ensure Marketing Calendars and Sample Trackers are updated at all times. Track live campaigns and activations, capturing screenshots and collecting performance metrics. Monitor competitor brands' onsite/in-store activations, promotions, and product launches. Manage ad hoc sample requests.
- Reporting & Commercial Planning: Maintain weekly Sell-Out dashboards to report to wider team. Request and collate NPD forecasts from retailers. Support the team with ad hoc data pulls and performance deep-dives. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Order Management, Brand and Creative to support retail success.
Key Experience and Skills:
- ~1–3 years’ experience in retail, commercial, account support, or brand roles.
- ~ Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- ~ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- ~ Commercially aware with basic analytical capability (Excel proficiency required).
- ~ Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with retail partners.
- ~ Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
