The Brand Marketing Coordinator will support the Brand Manager in executing marketing campaigns, retail promotions, and brand initiatives for our Korean skincare brands in the UK. This role focuses on implementing marketing strategies, managing brand assets, tracking local market insights, and providing support to retail and trade teams. The Marketing Coordinator ensures consistent brand representation across all channels and contributes to the growth and visibility of the brand through effective coordination and execution of marketing activities.
Principal Accountabilities
Brand Asset Management
- Supervise the creation and management of brand content across various channels to maintain brand consistency.
- Ensure controlled access and usage of brand assets to protect the brand’s integrity and image.
- Maintain a centralised library of brand materials, ensuring updates are shared with internal teams and retail partners.
- Track and analyse consumer and market insights, including sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing, and distribution trends.
- Conduct consumer research to identify market requirements for existing and future products, ensuring product relevance and market fit.
- Provide local market feedback during the product development process, including product concepts, content, and naming.
- Develop localized marketing communication points and beauty routines for product launches and promotions.
- Select products and categories for local promotions through comprehensive market analysis and alignment with business goals.
- Analyse sales data to update the brand or category portfolio, identifying new product opportunities and discontinuing underperforming products.
- Define positioning strategies for products based on market trends, competition, and consumer behaviour.
- Forecast initial product launch quantities through local market analysis and performance comparisons with similar products.
Marketing & Retail Support
- Assist in the execution of brand campaigns, launches, and in-store activations in collaboration with retail partners (e.g., Boots, Space NK, Selfridges).
- Provide marketing collateral and brand support to the Area Manager and Trainer for use in stores and training programs.
- Coordinate trade marketing initiatives, including point-of-sale (POS) materials and merchandising guidelines, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
Operations & Administration
- Compile reports for internal and HQ updates on campaign performance, product launches, and market insights.
- Support event planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
- Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations within the brand team.
Qualification and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in brand coordination, marketing, or related role. Candidates with prior experience in the beauty industry, especially with well-known retailers such as Space NK, Boots, and similar establishments, will be given preference.
- BA or higher degree in Business, Marketing or Management; MBA a plus.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in marketing operations, brand communications, and launch support execution.
- Effective communication & negotiation skills for internal and retail stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for financial and analytical tasks is required; experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and Korean brands.
- Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
