Amore Complex Care are looking for energetic support workers to support a gentleman in his 40s, who loves to get out into his local community and engage with the people supporting him.

Meet the person you’ll be supporting
- What challenges do I have? I have autism and physical disabilities, so I use a wheelchair and other physical aids to move around.
- What are my aspirations? I love activities and I am looking for new, engaging support workers to help me continue to get out into the community.
- What sorts of people do I get on with? I enjoy engagement in all kinds of activities; if you’re having fun, I’m having fun.
- What activities do I do? I have a vehicle staff can use to take me to activities such as local discos and swimming classes.
- How would I describe myself? I am caring, energetic, and fun to spend time with. I can become anxious and may present behaviours that are challenging.
My team
- How many staff support me? I have 2 staff supporting during the day and 1 overnight.
- What shift patterns do my team do? 12-hour days and nights
- We are looking to fill wake night availability 08:00 - 20:00 and/or 20:00 - 08:00
Job responsibilities
- Assisting with autism through goal-oriented activities and daily living skills
- Monitor the service user’s physical and emotional well-being
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting with sensory needs
- Provide person-centred support
- Support with household duties such as cooking and cleaning
- Assist the individual in developing and maintaining positive relationships in the community
Requirements and other information
- As a company we are unable to offer sponsorship for overseas candidates
- Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK
- Provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months if you have been outside the UK for longer than a year in the last 10 years
