As a Health & Social Care Trainer, you will design and deliver engaging training programmes covering clinical skills and mandatory care practices. Training delivery will include face‑to‑face sessions and occasional weekend/evening delivery to meet organisational needs; training will usually take place in Head office (Runcorn) but there would be some expectation to travel when business needs require to areas such as Lancashire and Yorkshire.

You will focus on topics covered below:

Topics Covered

  • Medication Administration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Buccal Midazolam
  • Moving & Handling

Experience in Catheter Care, Tracheostomy Care, and PEG Care is highly desirable.

You will assess competency, support learners\’ development, and ensure training meets all regulatory and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality clinical and mandatory care training
  • Assess and support learner competency and progress
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance standards
  • Continuously update training content to reflect best practice
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support for care staff
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive Learning & Development team

Amore Complex Care is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Health & Social Care Trainer to join our Learning & Development Team. You will play a key role in equipping our Support Workers with the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional, safe, and person‑centred care across our services.

Essential

  • Clinical background with strong Health & Social Care experience
  • Expertise in medication, BLS, buccal administration, and moving & handling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to suit business needsMinimum Level 3 teaching, learning, and assessment qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) or willingness to work toward it.

Desirable

  • Experience in catheter, tracheostomy & PEG care delivery
  • Experience in curriculum development
