Key Job Role Information
Role – Male Support workers
Location- Fallowfield, M14
Salary – £14.29 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Shifts – I have day shifts 8 am – 8pm available
Expected hours – 3 days per week –
Competent verbal and written English-
Must have experience within health and social care settings
Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
- Meet the person
- Who am I and how old am I? I’m adult male
- Likes: I am really interested in technology, and love to create videos.
- What challenges do I have?Hydrocephalus, central apnoea, CPAP, wheelchair user, epilepsy, partially sighted in left eye and no vision in right eye, dysphagia.
- What type of person do I get on well with?I get on well with females support staff
- I dislike when staff touch my belongings without my consent. Staff must ask before they do this or wait to be explicitly instructed to do so.
What are my aspirations?
- How do I get out into my local community?Likes to walk to the local shops or get public transport
- What are some of my long-term goals?To have a positive staff team who can help me to continue doing fun activities, I do want to continue to be social and continue developing my art skills. I do require some prompting to engage with activities.
My team
- How many people support me at one time? I am supported by 1 staff member at all times.
- What shift patterns do my team do?My team do 12 hour shifts.
- What are my team trained in?My team will receive bespoke training.
