Amore Complex Care has an exciting opportunity for skilled support workers to step up and help support a female in her 30s who requires support, including catheter care, mental health support, and wound care. We can provide all training during your induction process, and once completed, your pay can rise up to £14.00 an hour!

This role does not involve travel between multiple sites during one shift. Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives.

Meet the person you’ll be supporting:

What challenges do I have? I have Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, Crossed Quadriplegia, and Emotional Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).

What are my aspirations? To have a full staffing team who are reliable and trustworthy. They need to drive as I like to be out of the house and would like to build my relationships back up with family and friends. One day, I would like to be able to visit my family in America.

What are my interests? My dogs, family, and friends are very important to me. If you take the time to get to know me and prioritize my needs, I can be really outgoing. I have completed several degrees and used to work with young people in the community which I would love to get back involved in. I like to visit my family and friends around the country and in America.

What types of people do I get along with? I am outgoing, clever, and confident. Female only staff who are mature, drive, are comfortable with dogs, and prioritize my care. Preferably with knowledge and experience of personality disorders.

How many people support me at one time? Staff support me 1:1. I have full capacity and have full involvement in my care and decision-making.

What shift patterns do my team do? 9am – 9pm days and 9pm to 9am night shifts (24-hour shifts).

What are my team trained in? My team goes through a comprehensive training and induction process which is bespoke to me and my support needs.
