Nursery Practitioner in Horsham

Early Years Practitioner Job Specification (Horsham Area):

Role – Early Years Practitioner

Location – Horsham (Good transport links and free parking available)

Contract – Full-Time (5 days a week) or Part-Time considered

Hours – 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-time)

Operational Hours – Term-time only (38 weeks/year), open 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Requirements

*

Qualification: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (Essential), with a full and relevant qualification to be counted in staff ratios.

*

Experience: 1 year experience in Nursery or Childcare with under 5s (Preferred).

*

Knowledge: Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Birth to Five curriculum (Essential).

Core Duties & Responsibilities

*

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 1-5 years within a small, friendly team.

*

Work five full days a week (or agreed part-time hours).

*

Adhere to all playgroup policies and procedures.

Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. xiskglj

Salary – £21,000 per annum (dependent on age and qualification)
