Operations Engineer

We are a Sheffield based start-up providing expert engineering consultancy to a variety of clients and industries. We primarily focus on engineered product design, and work in a range of industries and contexts from biotech and medtech to water and heavy industry. We have a focus on ethical and sustainable delivery, but that means more to us than just bamboo straws and tote bags – we choose to work on projects that matter, work to deliver the best solution for our clients no matter what, and commit to doing so without compromising our values.

As an Operations Engineer, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement hyper‑optimized and AI‑assisted systems that enhance our R&D processes, focusing on manufacturing, systems, testing, and engineering workflow.

About you

We value drive, culture fit, and a track‑record of engineering excellence and above all else, but the below competencies, interests, and attributes are extremely desirable:

• A strong background in hardware engineering.
• Proficiency in coding and software development, with an eagerness to learn new languages and tools.
• Practical experience with GD&T and fully defined engineering drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing and operations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
