About Amodo

We are a Sheffield based start-up providing expert engineering consultancy to a variety of clients and industries. We primarily focus on engineered product design, and work in a range of industries and contexts from quantum computing and biotech to heavy industry and animal welfare. Responsibilities

Successful candidates will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to design and develop cutting edge solutions, systems, and products.

Qualifications

  • Experience with frontend or backend development
  • Experience writing and deploying code in one or more: CPP, JS, TypeScript, Python
  • Excellent grasp of programming best practice
  • Experience writing firmware and working on hardware projects
  • Experienced and enthusiastic in using LLM tools to speed up workflows (e.g. Claude code)
  • Interest in beautiful UX and graphic design
  • Familiarity with electronics and microcontrollers
