B1 Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Southampton Location: Woolston, Southampton (SO19) Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Perm Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts Salary: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience) B1 Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Immediate Opportunities Amnis Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced B1 Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Woolston, Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced forklift driver looking for ongoing work within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a B1 counterbalance forklift within a busy warehouse and production environment. * Load, unload and move materials and finished products. * Support warehouse operations, including stock movement and storage. * Ensure goods are handled safely and efficiently. * Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any defects. * Follow all site health and safety procedures. * Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams to meet operational requirements. Essential Requirements * Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Certification issued by AITT or an equivalent recognised training organisation. * Minimum 3 years' experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. * Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts. * Experience working rotating shifts. * Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures. * Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team. * Good communication skills.
