An established independent Islamic school is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join its supportive Secondary Girls School from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a warm, values-led school community with small class sizes, excellent pupil behaviour, and a calm, supportive atmosphere for teaching and learning. Subjects Available

  • Religious Studies (Years 7-11) - 11 hours per week - £7,329 - £10,042 per annum (M1-M6 equivalent)
  • History (Years 7-11) - 12 hours per week - £7,995 - £10,955 per annum (M1-M6 equivalent)

Applications are welcomed from candidates wishing to teach either subject separately or both combined.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in a related subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for Humanities education and pupil development

Desirable: ECT qualified. The school is willing to invest in and support applicants wishing to undertake the ECT programme.
