Electrical Tutor / Electrical Trainer .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Tutor, Trainer or qualified electrician with experience supporting and training apprentices.

You will deliver a combination of electrical theory and practical workshop training , supporting apprentices and commercial learners to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence.

The Role

  • Deliver electrical theory and practical training
  • Teach electrical installation, testing and maintenance
  • Support Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician apprentices
  • Deliver courses including 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing and PAT Testing
  • Assess learner progress and provide feedback
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment and examinations
  • Maintain accurate learner records and progress information
  • Support and motivate apprentices throughout their programme

What We're Looking For

  • Current 18th Edition / BS 7671 qualification
  • Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification
  • Substantial industry experience as a qualified electrician
  • Previous teaching, training or experience working with apprentices/students
  • Confident delivering both theory and practical training
  • Strong knowledge of current wiring regulations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Teaching, assessor and Inspection & Testing qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Candidates currently working in industry will also be considered where they have experience training, mentoring or developing apprentices on the job .
