We are working exclusively with a very good secondary school in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, who are seeking a Design Technology Teacher with the ability to teach Product Design at Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a long-term position to cover an absence, starting as soon as possible and running until the end of the academic year.
The Role
- Teaching KS3 & KS4 Design Technology / Product Design
- Delivering both theory and practical lessons
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Working within a supportive and well-established department
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Experience teaching Product Design at KS3 & KS4
- Confident with behaviour management and practical workshop environments
- Passionate, reliable, and adaptable
