A friendly and well-run small secondary school in Salford is seeking a Girls PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term supply role, starting ASAP until February half-term, with the potential to extend.
The school is open to qualified Science teachers who have previously taught PE, particularly those confident delivering Girls PE across KS3 and KS4, including both practical and theory-based lessons.
The Role:
- Teaching Girls PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering both practical and theory PE lessons
- Supporting students' engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday
- Working within a supportive and collaborative department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Be a Science Teacher with previous PE teaching experience, or a PE specialist
- Have secondary school classroom experience
- Be confident managing behaviour in practical PE settings
- Hold an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
- Be available to start immediately
