A popular and well regarded school in Oldham is recruiting a full time KS3 – KS4 Art & Design Teacher to start after Easter (April 2025). The ideal teacher has previous experience of also teaching Photography. The school has an excellent leadership team who are often at the forefront of new initiatives and share best practice with other schools in the area. There is a real ethos of working as a team and supporting colleagues evident across the school. The school is in a deprived area and some pupils come from very difficult backgrounds so pastoral care is especially important here, staff have the welfare and progress of pupils at heart and this governs the way the school operates on a daily basis. The department are supportive and resources and best practice are shared as a matter of course. If you have recent experience of teaching Art & Design at KS3 and KS4 level and feel capable of taking on full classroom responsibilities (including planning, preparation, assessment, meetings) then we would like to hear from you.
