JOB PURPOSE

Are you a dynamic, people-oriented leader with a passion for delivery and continuous improvement? We're looking for an experienced and driven individual to join our award-winning Information & Technology team at Amnesty International as our next IT Delivery and Continuous Improvement Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge in delivering impactful, sustainable IT solutions that empower our global human rights mission. If you thrive on building strong relationships, aligning technology with business needs, and driving innovation across complex environments—this is your opportunity to make a real difference. This full-time role (35 hours per week) ensures that technology solutions align with long-term organisational objectives and continuously evolve to meet the needs of Amnesty International. This is a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation and service excellence, ensuring that IT systems are not only successfully implemented but remain sustainable, efficient, and aligned with Amnesty's global mission. Please note, this is a hybrid role, with the successful candidate expected to come into our London office in Clerkenwell as needed.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the strategic delivery of IT services and solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term goals.
  • Oversee the integration and operationalisation of new technology solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements, automation, and cost reduction, implementing solutions that enhance IT performance.
  • Establish and drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring Amnesty's IT services remain scalable, flexible, and responsive.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise Architects, System Administrators, and business leaders, to align technology solutions with organisational priorities.
  • Develop and manage IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate IT service performance, tracking key metrics to drive improvements and ensure alignment with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in IT service delivery, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong operational management skills, with expertise in IT service integration, performance monitoring, and strategic alignment.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring IT solutions drive real-world impact.
  • Deep understanding of IT service management methodologies, including Agile, ITIL, and Waterfall.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and functions.
  • Experience managing large-scale IT deployments, ensuring solutions are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with long-term business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement proactive solutions.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience in IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
