Ammeraal Beltech Ltd - the UK's leading supplier of process and conveyor belting to OEM's, large corporations and airports - currently has an excellent opportunity for a person to join their Customer Service/Sales Team, working in the Head Office at Hertford. The position has become available due to expansion of the team.
Hours: 9am to 5pm, 1 hour for lunch.
Salary: £25K to £26K Approx.
Monthly Bonus: Subject to meeting budget: 100/102% £325 - 103/104% £375 – 105/110% £475 110% + £600.
Holiday: 24 days per annum + Birthday.
Pension: Automatically enrolled in to pension scheme.
Sick pay: After 6 months.
Responsible to: Customer Service Manager
The purpose of your job is to: provide sales/customer service and technical commercial support to customers, external sales engineers and other UK locations.
Your Responsibilities Are:
- To deal with incoming enquiries within a specified time frame, specify the belt and any accessories required, calculate the price and apply any discounts applicable to the customer, configure the quotation on Navision and email to the customer.
- Work closely with the external sales teams on a daily basis ensuring quotes & orders are processed in priority order.
- Process incoming orders on Navision, checking stock & available fabrication resource.
- Liaise with the customer to agree a delivery date.
- Update Salesforce with ongoing information about quotes/orders/information as necessary.
- Follow up quotations under £2k and raise opportunities for above £2K.
- Undertake training to understand applications and belt specifications & feel comfortable offering these to the customer.
- Take orders/enquiries for the site teams to attend customers’ sites, gathering the relevant health & safety information required to ensure that fitting job is safely completed.
- Source any special belting or associated products, placing purchase orders where necessary and ensuring material arrives on time, book in the order & ship.
- Deal with any customer complaints, investigate where necessary and ensure that a satisfactory conclusion is achieved.
- Be able to process export orders for bespoke UK produced material going to both customers abroad & other AB locations, following the procedure.
- Carry out other duties that may reasonably be required.

- Essential: Minimum 5 GCSE A-C level, must include Maths & English. ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Very good keyboard skills – ESSENTIAL.
