Play an important role at AMMA Childcare Services, who specialise in care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, taking a holistic approach to care. We ensure that all aspects of a young person's development are accounted for in order to inform our tailored therapeutic approach for them.

About the role

Working as a Therapeutic Practitioner, your goal is to help support young people living within our therapeutic care home. To provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people to flourish. You will promote health and well being, education, positive relationships, independence, and activities in accordance with the children’s homes regulations. You will implement boundaries and be consistent with the therapeutic care provided by the home for young people.

About You

We are looking for an experienced support worker, who has a background of working in a residential children’s care home, preferably with experience of working in a therapeutic environment. You will have the ability to work in challenging environments and leading excellence in care. An understanding and experience of working with young people with Emotional and/or Behavioural difficulties is required. You must have, or be working towards your Level 3/4 Diploma for Residential Childcare. An equivalent qualification will be considered.
