Essential Experience:

  • Professional kitchen experience in Indian cuisine or strong formal training in Indian cooking techniques.
  • Confident working with Indian breads, paratha, chaat, dal, paneer, achaar, spice blends and batch cooking.
  • Strong understanding of flavour balance, spice tempering, seasoning and consistency.
  • Ability to follow defined recipes, kitchen manuals and preparation standards with precision.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness.
  • Ability to work cleanly, calmly and efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Willingness to be trained in the Amma & Atta menu, systems and Ayurvedic-inspired food philosophy.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in high-volume, premium fast casual, QSR or daytime hospitality.
  • Experience preparing paratha or other Indian flatbreads at volume.
  • Experience with fresh, health-led or ingredient-focused food.
  • Interest in Ayurveda, wellness and nourishing food.
  • Experience supporting kitchen openings or new menu launches.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 yearly
