Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector. Our advanced milling, turning and 5‑axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil and aerostructure components. To‑date, we have manufactured components for Rolls‑Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand our machining capabilities over the coming year.

The Position

  • Manufacture components using instructions within a production pack.
  • Ensure all production documentation adheres to the relevant quality standard.
  • Progress manufacturing in line with the production schedule.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) within a production pack.
  • Confirm conformance of finished work to specifications.
  • Use tools such as micrometres, calipers, dial indicators and gauges.
  • All employees must be responsible for the safety of their work, that of their co‑workers and the implementation of our policies and procedures applicable to the processes that they perform.
  • Workers have the authority to stop production to correct safety problems.
  • Identify and report any known or potential problems and recommend solutions to aid subsequent risk management and corrective action activities.
  • All workers and contractors are encouraged to participate and engage with OHSM.
