The predicted salary is between 19.8 - 24.2 £ per hour.

Location: Nottinghamshire

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 8pm-6am / Thursday 10pm-5.30am

Pay: £19- £24ph dependent on experience (inclusive of shift premium)

AMLR are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join a leading supplier to the aviation industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment, producing components for commercial airliners, business jets, military aircraft, helicopters and more.

Key responsibilities for CNC Miller:

  • Manufacturing high-precision aerospace components using 4/5 Axis CNC milling processes.
  • Working safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety and 5S standards.
  • Producing components to the required quality standards, achieving right-first-time manufacture.
  • Meeting daily production plans and productivity targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Machining high-value and exotic materials, including Titanium, Inconel and Hardened Steel.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and adhering to engineering specifications.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders where required.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities and adapting positively to changing business requirements.

Requirements for CNC Miller:

  • Mechanical Apprentice trained or qualified by experience in 4/5 Axis CNC Milling.
  • Previous experience within a precision engineering environment, ideally Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or subcontract machining.
  • Good working knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance and supervision.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business needs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
