This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled team of 35 people who operate like a close-knit family, with a culture that supports development, collaboration, and recognition.
With over £12.5 million invested in advanced machinery, you’ll work on up to 5-axis CNC milling machines, producing machined parts, small castings, and hand-held components to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating up to 5-axis CNC lathes
- Producing machined parts, small castings, and hand-held components to tight tolerances
- Programming and proving CNC turning operations
- Supporting shop floor teams and maintaining quality standards
Equipment On Site:
- NLX 2500/700 Robot Loaded Lathe (Japan)
- CLX 450 TC DMG Mori (Germany)
- Star Sliding Head & 12-Axis Sliding Head
- Colchester Triumph
Shifts & Salary:
- Mornings: Mon–Thurs 6am–2:15pm | Fri 6am–1pm
- Afternoons: Mon–Thurs 2pm–10:30pm | Fri 12pm–6pm
- Standard day shifts also available
- Pay: £16–£20 per hour, depending on experience
