Are you an experienced Quality Fairs Inspector looking to join one of the largest independent global manufacturers in the UK, specialising in a wide range of aerospace production capabilities? Located in Basildon, Essex, dedicated to precision manufacturing, treatments, NDT, and repairs of metallic aerospace parts and finished components.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality FAIRS Inspector:
- Engineering or manufacturing background.
- Proven experience performing First Article Inspections.
- Experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards.
- Experience working in a quality control / inspection environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in dimensional inspection techniques and the use of inspection tools.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Quality FAIRS Inspector:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality FAIRs Inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in using a wide range of measuring and inspection tools.
- Recognized engineering apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent qualification is beneficial.
