AMLR are looking for an EHS Coordinator to join a leading aerospace manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment.
Key responsibilities for EHS Coordinator
- Support compliance with EHS legislation, company standards and site procedures.
- Conduct workplace inspections, internal and external audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate EHS training, inductions and awareness activities.
- Maintain EHS records, reports and performance data.
- Support emergency preparedness, fire safety and occupational health programmes.
- Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safe working practices.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements for EHS Coordinator
- NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessment processes.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO50001 is desirable.
- You should have sincere concern for the health and wellness of all employees.
A high level of enthusiasm, the ability to think positively, and vision-casting are also key criteria that should be considered.
