AMLR is recruiting a Quality Inspector in partnership with All British Precision, a well-established precision engineering company in Kirk Langley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-like team in a high-investment, modern facility producing components for aerospace and agriculture.

You will play a key role in ensuring quality standards across machined parts, small castings, and hand-held components, with a focus on first-off and final inspections. While experience with CMM (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS V5) is desirable, practical inspection skills are the priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections
  • Inspect machined parts, small castings, and hand-held components
  • Use a range of inspection tools including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and bore gauges
  • Record inspection results and complete FAIR documentation
  • Support production teams in maintaining high-quality standards

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in mechanical/precision inspection
  • Strong knowledge of measurement tools and techniques
  • Experience with machined parts, castings, and small components
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and team-focused
  • CMM experience (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS V5) is desirable but not essential

Shifts & Salary:

  • Mornings: Mon-Thurs 6am-2:15pm | Fri 6am-1pm
  • Afternoons: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10:30pm | Fri 12pm-6pm
  • Standard day shifts also available
  • Pay: £16-£20 per hour, depending on experience
