AMJ Recruitment are looking for a MIG Welder to join our valued Engineering Client, based in Coventry, CV6 Salary – £12.78 to £13.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) but this will rise from 1st April Hours – 07:00am until 17:30pm (Monday to Thursday) over time available on Fridays Term – Temp to Perm after 13 weeks. Start Date – ASAP Job Overview: My client is looking for a experienced MIG welded who can production weld. Job Specification: Welding of mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium using MIG processes. Fabricating various types of work in different materials drawings. Working from jigs to produce fabrications, and also making jigs. Advantageous to be skilled in operating a press brake, sheet metal guillotine, sheet metal rolls, drill press etc. Purge welding processes Metal finishing of work after welding process. Assembly work from time to time Fitting of materials or parts to finished products Any other duties that fall within the job scope as required.
