AMJ Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for Experienced Handyperson / Site Maintenance Operative to join a rapidly expanding Business which is set to be a market leader in their sector, based in Coventry, CV6. Role Details Shifts: Monday – Thursday (08:00am – 17:00pm) Friday (08:00am until 13:00pm) Pay Rate – £15.44 per hour Start Date – ASAP Duties Include: • Adhere to safety regulations such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site, including plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, basic electrics, and general DIY tasks. • Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. • Assist with minor refurbishments, installations, and improvement projects. • Liaise with external contractors when required and oversee quality of works. • Carry out regular inspections and routine preventative maintenance. • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any issues to the management team. • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. • Follow defined escalation process and take appropriate action relating to Safety Quality, and Delivery performance. • Carry out any other reasonable request made by management. • Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance and repair tasks • Good working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrics • Proficiency in using hand and power tools • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Don\’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity as it will not be around for long!
