A Guildford based Games studio are currently looking for a talented Community Manager, to work on a new innovative PC title, which they're aiming to dominate its genre. Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.
As the Community Manager you will be tasked on growing the Community for a new title, which will appeal to a wide range of gamers. You will ideally be a gamer yourself and you will be responsible for engaging with the online community across all areas of social media such as forums, Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord and TikTok etc. There will also be a creative element to the role where you will create new and engaging content, while maintaining and moderating forums.

You'll also get the opportunity to attend worldwide events and liaise with their existing Marketing Team to uphold a positive brand and PR for the studio.
This role is hybrid working, with at least 3 days onsite and the rest remote. This role is open to candidates who are eligible to work in the UK already. We are unable to offer fully remote working options currently or sponsor visas.
Salary range: £28,000-£45,000
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in a Community Manager role
- Games Industry Studio experience
- Experience of growing Communities through various methods of social media
- Enthusiastic about gaming on all platforms
- Good vocabulary with high level of written English
- Outgoing personality online and face to face
- Experience with Content writing would be a bonus
