We are looking for a producer to manage the development of high quality casual mobile games. A passion for casual games as well as a detail orientated outlook is needed with experience in games production, scheduling and task management. You are the glue that ties the team and project together and ensures that we deliver quality games on time and on budget but without crunch. Enjoying playing casual games on mobile is an asset as is an understanding of different cultures. This is a fully remote position, so you need to be organized and experienced with Jira/Confluence/Mira etc to ensure our task planning is right.
The team is spread across multiple locales and time zones and you will need to ensure that people are properly managed, dependencies are covered, and nobody is left in the dark.
Skill requirements:- 2+ years experience in a production role within a games studio developing iOS games (Android a bonus but iOS essential).
- Experience in the full product cycle of iOS (and Android) games including dealing with submissions.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Charismatic, energetic and detail orientated personality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work with different time zones and cultures simultaneously.
- “Self-starter” mentality.
- Strong interest in mobile games and play them daily especially puzzle games.
- Good experience in scheduling, JIRA, Confluence, Git.
You are a people person, and motivate the team by encouragement and do as I do. An eye for detail and quality and the understanding of how to balance quality against time and resources. Ego and arrogance must not be part of your attitude, but confidence and drive should be. A problem solver, not a problem maker.
Willingness to sometimes attend calls at unsociable hours due to client needs (within reason of course). The position is contract but full time. Location not important but prefer in the UK/Europe time zone.
