Amiqus have partnered with an exciting studio based in Hertfordshire who are looking to hire a Community Manager to join their growing team. The studio has helped release some of the best indie games on the Console/PC market and this position will offer you the chance to work with these titles and new releases.
As the Community Manager you will be tasked on growing the Community for a range of new titles, which will appeal to a wide range of gamers. You will ideally be a gamer yourself and you will be responsible for engaging with the online community across all areas of social media such as forums, Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord and TikTok etc. There will also be a creative element to the role where you will create new and engaging content, while maintaining and moderating forums.
The role will offer you a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing studio with games that have attracted a large number of players. You will also be involved with the product launch of new upcoming titles and taking studios through the journey of first contact to a shipped release. You’ll also get the opportunity to attend worldwide events and liaise with their existing Marketing Team to uphold a positive brand and PR for the studio.
The studio offer a range of benefits such as relocation assistance, pension, choice of laptop, a generous holiday allowance and free parking. This role offers a hybrid model which is onsite 3 days a week, with 2 days working remotely. We are unable to offer fully remote working options currently or sponsor visas.
Salary range - £30,000-£45,000
- At least 2 years’ experience in the games industry as a Community/Social Media Manager
- Experience of growing Communities through various methods of social media
- Enthusiastic about gaming on all platforms
- Ability to interface with clients, consumers and media
- Highly approachable and a good ability to network
- An avid player of indie games
- Good vocabulary with a high level of written English
