A Guildford based Games studio are currently looking for an experienced Animator to work on a new innovative PC title, which they’re aiming to dominate its genre. Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.
The primary focus will be on locomotion (e.g., walking, running and combat-related sequences). You will collaborate closely with the art director and development team to ensure animations align with the game's style, performance requirements, and overall vision. This role requires delivering polished, efficient animations within a tight timeline.
Requirements:- Proven experience as an animator in the game industry, with professional experience in AAA or indie game development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in locomotion and combat animations (please provide links to relevant work, such as demo reels or game credits).
- Proficiency in animation software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, with experience exporting to game engines.
- Ability to work independently on a short-term contract while communicating effectively via Slack and Zoom.
- A collaborative individual who will thrive in an inclusive and supportive environment.
