My client are a well established building envelope subcontractor that has been trading for well over 30 years, working on various packages ranging from 4 million to 20 million in value. Tier 1 & 2 contractors as well as leading developers is typically their route to market, working on commercial office, residential, mixed use, public and private sector contracts.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates across various different facade packages
  • Deep understanding of materials, labour and manufacturing processes to ensure accurate and competitive project bids
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and suppliers to gather necessary information
  • Prepare and submit detailed and competitive bid proposals
  • Identify potential risks and mitigate them through detailed analysis
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather and verify project information
  • Provide technical support and clarifications during the project bidding process

Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to a pay up to 85k for the right person.
