As a TP 141 authorised Commissioning Engineer you will represent the end Client and be a part of their project team. Contributing towards the effective execution of the Secondary engineering activities. The focus will be on HV – substation design and construction within the End Client\’s EPC. Be the technical lead of the secondary design of substations to meet customer requirements, legislations and standards within budget and time.
Duties
- Be the Technical Lead of Secondary Engineering on the project, including both in-house End Client teams, third-party and supplier teams.
- Act as CDAE for assurance for all relevant designs and deliverables.
- Represent the End Client project team in all matters related to secondary engineering, on the assigned project.
- Preparation /validation and approval engineering for protection and control (P&C) system for HV and MV electric power substations.
- Preparation of one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, interconnection and wiring diagrams, relay panel front views, and cable schedules.
- Deliver technical calculations, technical purchasing specs and schedules for auxiliary power system equipment.
- Provide information for primary, civil designs and coordination of interfaces between all disciplines.
- Review of supplier’s design.
- Prepare technical specifications, bills of quantities & cost estimation, deviations & clarifications.
Previous experience as (Contractor Design Approval Engineer) CDAE.
