A leading Tier 1 London contractor is recruiting for Construction Planners to support major construction around London. These are high-profile, technically complex projects delivered in a live central London environment.
One role requires strong Asta Powerproject experience, and the other Primavera P6 expertise. Both positions offer the opportunity to work closely with project and commercial teams from pre-construction through delivery on flagship London schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and maintain fully logic-linked construction programmes
- Produce baseline, target, and short-term programmes using Asta Powerproject
- Monitor progress, identify risk, and provide mitigation strategies
- Carry out critical path, delay, and change analysis
- Prepare progress reports and programme narratives for internal teams and clients
- Support tender planning, methodology development, and phasing strategies
- Work collaboratively with site teams, commercial managers, and senior stakeholders
- Manage planning challenges associated with constrained city-centre environments
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner within a Tier 1 or major contractor environment
- Strong background delivering London-based construction projects
- Experience working on complex, logistically constrained schemes (city centre, live environments)
- Proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 (role dependent)
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, risk, and change control
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to wider project teams
- Experience on commercial, mixed-use, or public-sector London projects
- Knowledge of NEC or JCT contract environments
- Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, or a related discipline
